   Is there any way to sort the post-overview displayed in the backend by category not by date?
   a plugin or something to get e.g. a drop-down box with all used categories (just like the drop-down with months)?

   i guess this is quite an easy question but unfortunately i couldn't find a solution so far :-/ so thanks for every hint.

   2.1 has the drop down for categories.

   Unfortunately I can't update for now because not all plugins are working with the new version.
   Is there a solution/hack for my 2.0.7, too?
