I posted this quested a few days ago. I've done my Google homework but hoped this would be easier.

I want the months in lowercase (Except in the side bar when they are the heading of the Archives). I get them ok in Spanish but uppercase, which is bad Spanish grammar.

    - The locale.php is in English. It doesn't seem to have any effect in my Spanish installation. I mean, the months are translated right because I put the Spanish .mo file in the languages folder of my theme.

-I tried: strtolower(the_time('j \de F, Y')); That PHP function is supposed to translate the string resulting from the_time to lowercase, but it doesn't.

    - Where are the names of the months in Spanish stored?

How can I get '2 de noviembre' instead of '2 de Noviembre' which is wrong Spanish grammar.

    Thanks.
