    Excellent plugin to index default fields along with custom post types, custom taxonomy & custom fields. I have used Apache Solr Server in the past for enterprise search and it is amazing. After Solr, I would recommend relevanssi for real time indexing and searching. It is clean, simple, easy to use and has dashboard settings page for tuning search engine.
