    You don't really need to modify the plugin to achieve this. There are several support forum posts about this but they are way back.

    Simply create a container in your modal content editor and apply the same styles.
    <div class="custom-container">Other Modal Content here</div>

    .custom-container {
     max-height: 500px;
     overflow: auto;
    }

    Doing this though really doesn't help you if your theme is responsive and will break the mobile layouts which is why we didn't add it by default. You can also define

    If not using responsive no need to do anything different but i would reverse those with a @media query if you need to use them, so that mobiles can use it properly.

    This may be added as an option in the plugin if you select custom for modal size, which is the only non responsive size.

    Thanks for the review, mind saying why no 5th star?

    I must admit that I did not checked all options the plugin has. For example: the custom size for the modal window.
    This option could help to do what I told you about the modals with long text content, but the modal has a CSS rule that makes the content visible even when the it overflows.

    I can easily solve this adding overflow: auto; to the .modal div. But you can configure the plugin to make this when the modal uses a custom height value.

    You really deserve a 5 stars rating. But these details could make the plugin be easier to handle. I think additional CSS rules would be necessary just in case the user would like another style or to make it much pretty, not to right some functionalities.

    But, awesome plugin!!!... Thank you very much.

    overflow: visible may not be necessary, and i will add it to issue manager to look into.

    Typically though unless you define a height the functionality of the plugin centers around responsiveness which means no defined height and a modal that scrolls with the page.

    Here are a few features we are adding

    • auto centering
    • changeable position from top / left / right / bottom
    • scrollable content ( per your request )

    New pro features include advanced animations, auto open on scroll (by % or px) and setting up for modal analytics in the next major version.

    Hope youll change that to 5 stars now or when you try out the next version in a few weeks.

    PS. Im not sure i would consider a feature request as a reason to take away a star, but that is my opinion and we appreciate yours.

    Thanks for the feedback and your insights, we will consider them strongly.
