Avatar Images Not working

    Hello,

    I am not seeing my avatar images working on my site. Instead I see a broken image link. When I right click and open it in another window it says:

    http://i0.wp.com/path_to_url as the URL and

    Error 0001. The type of image you are trying to process is not allowed.

    I’m running WP 3.8.1 patched as of today.

    Any ideas?
