So, I’m copying all of these comments from an old guestbook script into the comments of a WordPress page and it’s all going fine except for one thing. If I set an avatar or user photo for myself, my avatar shows up for every post even though I am changing the email address and the name of the poster each time. Apparently it must serve the avatar by IP address because that is the only thing I am aware of that is shared by all of the comments. Anybody know a way around it? Can I dump all of the IP addresses from the table? Would that hurt anything?
