   Hi,
   the autoupdate-feature for plugins and the WP-installation does not seem to work. When I try to update a plugin I get asked for my ftp login... but automatic ftp update fails, too, I get an error message saying that my wordpress directory could not be found.

   Any ideas?

   Automatic update is simply not possible on some webhosts. Sorry, not much that can be done about it. Try a new host.
