With less than 4 month old weblog, I have been encountering suggestions and offers about automation software to increase traffic. I just want to inquire if there is anyone here who tested even one link in the list below. I want to verify first if they really work. Thanks!

FYI - You have to actually put some content between the <a href="URL"> part and the closing </a> tag. I fixed your post.
Generally? Don't bother using any automation software. They don't actually help.

xrumerservice.org has been spamming my site lately, these sites are a pain to everyone who gets this junk in their comments.
There is a post at http://getlabourout.wordpress.com/2011/12/30/xrumerservice-org-spam-spam-any-xrumerservice-org-posts/ that tells wordpress.com users how to deal with this, it applies to wordpress.org as well.
To those who think these sites are a good idea, link trading schemes can get you banned by Google, so be careful.
