Automatically import larger featured images

I wanted to inform that we’ve launched vSlider v 5.X and suggest you to try the 5.0.1 version and in case you face any issues, you can post them on our forums forums.vibethemes.com or email us at vibethemes@gmail.com.

And YEs, the 5.0.1 version picks the largest image.

It will now automatically import..
Use the slide generator instead.

How can you generate slides?
1. Select Image source -> Generate Images
2. Set the Number of Slides/Images you want to show.
3. Select the Post Type, it works with your custom post types as well.
4. Select the Taxonomy
5. Select Taxonomy term.
For example: In posts, I have a category called “Abc”
So If I want to create a slider which takes featured images from category ABC then My settings are
Post Type: Post
Taxonomy: Category
Taxonomy Term : Abc
6. Select popular post entries or recent post entries.
7. Generate.

As soon as you click generate it generates slides in the Slides panel at the bottom.

You get images and caption heading and caption text pulled from the posts. You can then alter any of the slide settings and click save.

Post saving you can Live preview your slider and use the shortcode wherever you want it.
