   Is there a plugin which would automatically change post category on a given date?

   I have a site which promotes these events. The ongoing events are shown on a front page. When the event is over, the plugin would automatically move the post to a "Past Events" category, and drop it from the front page.

   Anybody have an answer for this? I'm trying to do the same thing. Any sample PHP code that would put me in the right direction?

   If you don't find a plugin that does this, might look at several plugins that automatically change posts and use some of the ideas there.
