Is there a way to insert a link that automatically assigns that link to the same word or phrase in a page?

    Example:

"TEST" in a page links to "test.com"

The word "TEST" is repeated several times in a page. Can you somehow have all of the words "TEST" automatically linked with a single URL?

There are several ways to do that, but they all required significant PHP programming expertise.

If you could type square brackets around it, e.g. - [test], you can write a ShortCode name TEST that displays TEST and creates a link to test.com. This plugin simplifies the writing of Shortcodes: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/shortcode-exec-php/

You can also use Windows Live Writer to create posts and pages and auto-link to text with it.
