   I upgraded manually to 2.8.2 and have been using 2.8.2 for about a week. Today I clicked for an automatic upgrade to 2.8.3 and it all went through, upgrade successful, and when I clicked on the Dashboard it took me to an entirely blank page. Same goes for the rest of my blog site, everywhere. Help!

   It seems to have been a theme problem, in case anyone else has this issue... in phpMyAdmin I used a query I found in another support forum thread: UPDATE wp_options SET option_value='default' WHERE option_name='template' OR option_name='stylesheet' LIMIT 2
   That will take your theme back to default.

   I also reuploaded my old files from 2.8.2.
