Automatic update to WordPress 3.8.2

Why are my websites being updated automatically? I don’t have the time to fix any issues that may come up with theme and/or plugin incompatibility. I prefer to update my websites myself when I know that I’ll have the time to fix any issues. It doesn’t look like Ive had any with the three that have been updated so far, but I definitely don’t want this to contiue because I’m almost certain there are going to be compatibility issues with my older sites and don’t have time to fix them! What do I need to do in order to get this to stop? This has never happened before. Thank you for your time.
