Hi I have WP 2.8.1 and I am trying to automatically upgrade. Instead of having it as mysite.com/wordpress I have it as mysite.com/blog
Now when I try to automatically upgrade I get a folder not found. How do I correct this?
Thanks
Dan

This is the exact error:
Unable to locate WordPress Root directory.
Installation Failed
Can anyone help me out here? I'd like to upgrade but I'm stuck.
Are you trying to upgrade using wordpress automatic upgrade plugin?
Yes, that's the point I want to simply click 'upgrade' and get updated. Instead I'm getting the 'Unable to locate WordPress Root directory.
Installation Failed "
Error.
It listed as http://www.warrior-scholar.com/blog/
Thanks
It's been a week can anyone give me a hand here?
The fact that your blog is in /blog shouldn't matter.
I've had 'em in /blog, /wordpress, /wp, /hidden, and everything else.
Anyway. Read this: http://www.mstudiostalk.com/2009/10/21/a-remedy-to-the-unable-to-locate-wordpress-root-directory-error/
See if it helps.
