I hope this time my post won't be deleted!!!!

So, 3 weeks ago, my site was working perfectly!!!

Suddenly, I got some redirections that I just don't know where they come from!

I have 1 domain with 4 WP installations:
http://www.martinemlanglois.com --> Photocrati theme (this part of the site works fine)
http://www.martinemlanglois.com/showers --> 2nd WP installation with Market theme (not working in MU) I have problem with this one...
http://www.martinemlanglois.com/bijoux --> 3rd WP installation with Market theme (not working in MU) I have problem with this one...
http://www.martinemlanglois.com/photographie --> 4th WP installation with Photocrati theme (this part of the site works fine)

    What's not working :
    /showers/blogue, /showers/contact, /bijoux/blogue and /bijoux/contact are all redirected to http://www.martinemlanglois.com/blogue or http://www.martinemlanglois.com/contact

/showers/galeries, /showers/livraison, /showers/faq, /bijoux/galeries, /bijoux/livraison, /bijoux/faq are all showing Photocrati theme with Not found message.

Also, I have about 70 products created in /showers and all categories and products are all showing Photocrati theme with Not found message.

But /showers/site principal and Voir le panier link are working properly. Idem for /bijoux/site principal and Voir le panier link.

Results of ticket submitted to Market theme support : not a theme issue. Refer to your hosting company.

Results of ticket submitted to HostPapa : not an issue coming from them. Refer to WP...

So here I am. All my links are correctly coded, my databases show the good www for each page or product...

    How could this happened?

    Thanks!

    O_o

well... http://www.martinemlanglois.com/showers (this is working fine for me)
when I'm there, if I click on blogue I'm redirected to http://www.martinemlanglois.com/blogue instead of http://www.martinemlanglois.com/showers/blogue

It does the same if I click on contact.

If I click on galeries, livraison, F.A.Q. or a product category in the sidebar I see the theme of http://www.martinemlanglois.com with Not found message...

I get exactly the same for the links in http://www.martinemlanglois.com/bijoux

All the links in http://www.martinemlanglois.com and http://www.martinemlanglois.com/photographie are working well.... the problem is only with the links in http://www.martinemlanglois.com/showers and http://www.martinemlanglois.com/bijoux

Everything is really working fine for you?!?! Even my host company as the same results!!

It is a rewrite conflict because you have wordpress also installed in the root website with a page with the same slug as the slug in your subfolder install. So the root install will load /blogue as a priority over /showers/blogue.... change the slug of one of them and I'd bet it works.

.... I'm French speaking... I usually understand well written English... but now... I'm lost... what is a slug?

And 3 weeks ago, everything was working great! Also, I can understand that there can be a conflict... but what about the pages that do not exist? If I change the slug of one of them, will it resolve this issue too?

I'm still not sure what a slug exactly is but I resolved my problem.

So, I first moved the installation that was in the root into a subfolder named "fr" (for French) ... I don't know if it was necessary but in case I would like to translate my site in English it could be usefull...

Once I did this, there was only my "main" site working, got 404 page for all the other installations.

Made a search and found something about the permalinks. So I checked mine.

In options -> permalinks all my installation were set to date and post.

I kept this setting for the "main" site http://www.martinemlanglois.com/fr
I chose personalized for the others and set it like this:

    /showers/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/ for http://www.martinemlanglois.com/showers
    /bijoux/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/ for http://www.martinemlanglois.com/bijoux
    /photographie/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/ for http://www.martinemlanglois.com/photographie

and.... everything is working fine!!! :D I'm too happy!!!

    Thanks to all!
