   Hi,

   I have upgraded lately to 3.0.1 (from wordpress-mu) and just realized that the automatic update of plugins is somehow not working anymore. If I click on the automatic update link of a plugin, it says

   Downloading (and then the plugin name)

   It used to list progress and activate the plugin again before. Now it simply stops. The update is installed though but I have to manually activate it. Anyone having same problem (and a solution)?

   Try decativating all plugins before starting the automatic update. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.
