Automatic Facebook Feature Image Feed Problem

We have a blog at work which runs off this free template and it is connected to various social media outlets. On most of them the featured image pulls through nicely but for facebook for some reason it pulls through the main banner from the blog? Is this a bug? We set the feature image in the blog but it has trouble pulling through. Can anyone reccomend a fix?
