Automatic Expiration of Blogs (2 posts)

Hey, I have been thinking about this. Is there a way to change the post page to allow for entry of an automatic expiration date for a blog?
I will use WP as a daily bulletin for the school I work for and it would cut down on the necessary maintenance tremendously if I could have the posts automatically expire after, say, 2 weeks.
    Any ideas?

I was looking for the same thing. Since there isn't any one pointing to a hack or anything, I would say we're left to a good old cron job. I would simply write a quick script to reset all posts, or posts in a category, to reset as a Draft or Private after n days. Or you could create another category (or rename Private) called Archive and reset the category to that.
