Hi, before I buy this plugin, I just wanted to know if this plugin supports monthly subscription through paypal. Also, if the subscriber (member) of my site goes to his paypal account and cancels the subscription, will the membership of that user be deactivated automatically on my site ?

Does the plugin checks for active subscription of the member ?

    Hi Nims,

I sincerely apologize for the late response. Also, the plugin is free, but our support has paid options.

You can enable recurring billing with PayPal - If the member cancels on your site, their membership is cancelled immediately.

If they cancel their membership through PayPal's website, you will receive notification so that you can manually cancel them.

You can see more about our Gateways in our documentation when you sign up at http://www.paidmembershipspro.com/documentation/initial-plugin-setup/payment-gateway/

Thnks for the quick response ;-)
When someone cancels subscription from paypal does Paypal not send a notification to the subcription site that can be checked by the site and it cancels the membership ?

    Hi Nims,

If someone cancels on the website with PMPro installed, their cancellation is effective immediately.

If they cancel on the PayPal's website, you are correct, you will get a notification so that you can manually cancel them.

    Hope this answers your question.
