Is there a plugin or a 3rd-party application that would help automatize replicating an already installed and set up blog on multiple servers?

Ideally, all I would need to do is input FTP and/or cPanel login info and the thing would:

    1. Create an empty MySQL database.
    2. Create a database user.
    3. Assign the user to the database.
    4. Import the master database.
    5. Upload master WP files to the hosting account.
    6. Set up chmod preferences.

    Thanks in advance! 🙂

regarding step 4: Don’t forget that the blog URLs (see Options -> General) are stored in the database. A straight import into a blog at a different URL will cause heartburn and achy joints.

Are you replicating the ‘master’ blog to make it easier start a blog for a different domain?

@handysolo… correct, forgot about that. I should also need to input the new URL.

@michaelh… yes, that’s the main reason. I have my ‘master’ blog with a particular set up (plugins, options, etc.) and I want to start a new blog just like it on a different domain.

    Hi Miroslav,

Have you found a solution for multiplying wordpress blogs?
