   Fixed on the new version Simple Tags 2.1.
   Problem due to jQuery and incorrect content-type.

   For the shortcode, do you active this feature on Simple Tags settings ?

   Yes, it works now. And I stand corrected on the shortcode: after installing a new version the feature was somehow disabled. I enabled it just now and it works. Thanks!
