   Can't figure this out. When I go to start the auto update I put in my FTP info and after a few seconds I get nothing, just a blank window with the options toolbar to the side.

   Auto-update doesn't work on all servers, sadly, due to myriad reasons.

   Can you do a manual upgrade?

   I have TMDHosting and I cant get the AUTO update to work, when I click on it it says upgrade failed.

   I do not think I can do a manual upgrade.

   lawrence26076 - it's not that hard. If you have FTP access, you can do it.

   Im currently with go-daddy they have an auto update thing that doesnt work. And for some reason the auto update from within WP doesnt work with them either. Coupled with the fact that they have the slowest customer service response time I have ever seen and it just leads me to believe its time to find a better host.
