   Hi All,

   I'm getting the following error when I try to auto upgrade. I have had no problem doing auto upgrades until this version. Here is the actual error:

   Downloading update from http://wordpress.org/wordpress-2.9.2.zip.
   Unpacking the update.
   Incompatible archive: PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature
   Installation Failed
   ________________________________________________________________________

   Any ideas? Thanks!

   That error indicates that the download failed before the full .zip file was received by your web host.

   Try it a few more times. If the problem continues, you can either report it to your web host, or do the upgrade manually.

   I just checked and the .zip file at that URL is valid. I just unzipped it successfully on my PC.

   Hi adiant,

   I tried it a couple more times and it continued to fail, so I just uploaded it manually. It's working fine now, I'll see if the next version allows an auto update. Thanks again!

   My guess is that your web host is terminating the connection before the download is complete.
