Auto Update killed my blog (6 posts)

    Ran auto upgrade.
Won't load. Nothing, blank, no errors, just dead.
Deactivated plug-ins via phpmyadmin-did not help.
    Cannot access anything.

  2. Do a manual upgrade, you may be missing files.

I did that and added debug to settings.

    Now I get this:
Warning: include() [function.include]: Failed opening '/public_html/blog/wp-content/advanced-cache.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /public_html/blog/wp-settings.php on line 60

I don't have any extra plugins...

I commented out the code in line 60, now I get a blank page again but now I can login.

Not sure what to do now.

Looks like you're still missing something. Try re-uploading the core WordPress files again. If you have a custom php.ini, rename that too.

  5. Verify that /public_html/blog/wp-content/advanced-cache.php exists.

That file is owned by WP SuperCache, though, I thought...

Yes, I believe you're correct. That file is owned by WP SuperCache. Deactivating the plugin won't get rid of it either.

@BusterKat: You will want to deactivate any caching plugins you have while you work on this and you may need to rename your files in the wp-content with 'cache' in the name when you test to make sure that no caches keep showing the error even after it's fixed.
