I have just installed a fresh copy of WordPress and whenever I try to create a new page, the wp-admin/page-new.php file just automatically refreshes to wp-admin/page-new.php?saved=true and creates empty pages until I am forced to stop it by clicking another link in the admin section.
Does anyone know how I might stop this? I do not have this problem when trying to create a normal post, only pages.

I'm still having this problem in various wordpress installations I try (on different servers). Is anyone else having this problem as well?

After countless hours of messing with the configuration and reinstalling WP, I have found out that the reason that the create page set-up continually refreshes without stopping is due to some error or bug with the visual rich editor. When I deselect that from my user options, everything works properly and without the constant autorefreshing.
Does anyone know why this happens?
When you did your re-installs, did you delete the old files first?
What version of WP?

Yes, I did delete all the old files. And I have been using the current release of WP
