Auto <p> trouble after WP 2.1 upgrade
-
Hello,
Everytime I post or edit an entry after upgrading to WP 2.1, it adds <p> tag in the middle of the div for the screenshot. Code I enter.
<div class=”ImageManipulation”><img src=”http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t228/realmofscience/biology/evolutionofman-1.png” alt=”The Evolution of Man” /></div>
Code that is being displayed that ruins my HTML validness.
<div class=”ImageManipulation”><p><img src=”http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t228/realmofscience/biology/evolutionofman-1.png” alt=”The Evolution of Man” /></div>
This suddenly happened to all my entries after the update. Options -> Writing -> “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically” is unchecked.
I did perform a search, although no thread dealt with it in WP 2.1 and the solution to most peoples issues seemed to be to do the above step.
I am rather experienced in HTML and am not using the WYSIWYG, so is there a way to completely remove the auto HTML addition(s) to wordpress posts?
Thank you for your time. Have a nice day.
