• I just upgraded to v 1.2.2 and I can’t find where to turn off the auto line break thing. Wasn’t that an option in 1.2.1? Can anyone tell me how to turn this off? It’s messing up the way I want my entries to look.

Still waiting on that reply… Since no one answered, I downgraded back to 1.2.1. Now I want to install the latest version of WP but I still don’t know how to turn off the auto line break for your posts.

The following plugin might do it (not sure, never tried it). Just set it to “no formatting”…

Thank you so much!! It worked! I just don’t feel comfortable with something doing the coding for me.

    Thanks again!!

If you don’t want to use a plugin to make the “auto line breaks” happen, don’t make line breaks. In other words, while this should be two paragraphs, it is one, so type as if there are no paragraphs. When you hit “enter”, it will put in a code that is the end of the paragraph. This is how people “read” in books and such. There should be “space” between paragraphs. But if you want it all one paragraph, then do that. If you don’t want the “space” then change the margins and padding for the <p> in your style.css to 0. That should help remove the look of space.
