   I'm trying to create a member site for a niche community wherein users can register and have their own installation of wordpress associated with their account. Does anyone know of any plugin that could accomplish something like this, or where to start looking for how to develop this?

   Edublogs.org is doing precisiley what I'd like to do. When you sign up for their free account, you get a free site.

   No plugins needed, but there will be some tinkerin' to do:

   If the instructions on this page make no sense to you, be sure to test things on a development site first, rather than your live site.
