   Is there a way to run a code that will delete posts by date in a specific category? Either by adding code to the function or a plugin.

   This plugin works in both posts and pages. You set the date in the Post Expirator section when you edit a post/page.

   Note that once the posts expire, they are gone forever.

   I use this and like it. Only problem is that you can't set it to automatically expire posts for a specific category (i.e delete posts from category A 90 days after posting).
