   Hi there,
   right now i'm using WP2.5RC2, but the problem is longer exist.

   after uploading an image via the wp-upload-function, the image appears in the ftp-directory with chmod600. After i change it manually to chmod640 i can see it in the post-editor and on the public side of the page.
   so what is wrong with the settings or whatever that the images didn't automaticly get the right chmod?
