It would be cool if child pages would automatically be added to the navigation menu under the parent pages.

With a setting to manually remove a child page if you do not want it to be displayed in the menu.

+1. Not every theme wants drop down menus. I'd like to be able to have child page links only appear on the parent page.

even if this isn't included in wordpress core. is there a way to automatically add child pages to parents on the wp nav?

    i.e.
if i add a parent page, then i want the children to also be displayed.
the result would be the same as if i added them manually.

is there a simple way to add something to functions.php to make this happen?
