Authorship not working after update for main url

    WordPress version: 3.4.2
    Yoast WordPress-SEO version: 1.2.8.7

    I’ve been happily using Yoast SEO and the authorship feature over the last couple of months, everything was working perfectly.

    I’m not entirely sure, nor do I know how to check, but I think I must have updated to the latest version and I think this might be causing problems. The google snippet tool shows my authorship profile picture for my main url and my subsites (posts etc). This is also how they would show up in Google.

    Recently (after updating, I think) the authorship profile picture has disappeared for the main url listing in Google, but remains to be working for ordinary pages and posts. Both still show a profile picture when run through google snippet tool. I’ve tried different things and google has recrawled my site numerous times, but I can’t seem to figure out what’s going on.
