Authorized members inside WordPress

    Hi,

    I’m administrating a WP site witch I’ve configured to be a ‘non blog’ site.
    Now I want to have inside WP a Forum just for our memebers so they can discuss and so.
    I’ve made a page with a shortcode to go to the forum and put this as a menu item to be pressed. When I set the form to be private non memebers get a 404.
    After a member has logged in he/she can go to the forum, but there’s also appearing the admin bar for WP. This is something I don’t want to happen cause being an author they can also add post to the ‘master’ site.

    Has anyone had something like this and have a solution beside having a forum aside off WP?
