how does an author upload files?
if i use add media option and 'choose files to upload' i get 'Unable to create directory /hsphere/local/home/manilama/beta.butikilyo.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11. Is its parent directory writable by the server?'

if i use add media option and 'choose files to upload' i get 'Unable to create directory /hsphere/local/home/manilama/beta.butikilyo.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11. Is its parent directory writable by the server?'
possibly permission issue make sure parent directory has create folder and create/write to files permission.
