    Hey Folks,

Here is my website’s Author Profile page. It was fairly easy to create and it pulls everything from the user settings and gravatar (for the image).

What I need to do is add a custom box below the author profile and above the posts for specific Authors. The box will display about 3 or four images (with links) and that’s it. It’d be nice to have some custom css with this box as well.

The catch is that I don’t need this box on all of the Author profiles. The authors that do require the “picture box” will be required to use unique pictures and links depending on their sponsors.

Basically it’s going to be their sponsor’s companies images (with links to the companies site when you click em).

Can anybody point me in the right direction?

    Thanks for your help!

    -Matt

    One option:

Define the “Author Box” area as a Widgetized sidebar, add the per-author Code in text Widgets (or custom Widgets), and then use Widget Logic with per-author conditionals to ensure the correct Widget displays on the correct Authors’ pages?

    Chip,

Thanks for your response. I was hoping for a more direct approach if possible. When you say widgetized sidebar does that mean it has to be in the sidebar?

    Thanks,

You can define a Widgetized “sidebar” anywhere you want. It doesn’t have to be in the sidebar column.
