   Hi,

   My site is, http://www.mochaquest.com. I tried to click on a post and view it as a single post. I clicked on the author name, example: http://www.mochaquest.com/author/Arrica Lee and it leads me to a 'Not Found' Page. Any idea how to fix this?

   Are you trying to link to an author bio, or an archive containing that author's posts?

   i found the solution mochaquest

   after you make your edits in the Permalinks section wordpress you will see code copy it and past in .htaccess file with youe blog root file the code with me was like this

   <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
   RewriteEngine On
   RewriteBase /
   RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
   RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
   RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
   </IfModule>

   That didn't help me ^.

   My author/biography page isn't showing up. I added that code above and it just directed me to the WordPress 404 page.

   My site is - http://speak.purplehoodie.info/

   My author page should be http://speak.purplehoodie.info/index.php/author/bigscreengeek/ - it doesn't show.

   However, one of the writer's on my site profile shows perfectly - http://speak.purplehoodie.info/index.php/author/classACT/
