Hi, I am trying the mailing on event booking/canceling. The user receives correctly the booking created/cancelled mail, but the event author only receives the booking created mail when the booking gets created for the first time. Then he doesn’t receive a mail through the sucessive cancels/re-enables done in the admin page or or when the user cancels it through the link example.com/events/my-bookings/?action=booking_cancel[…]

Is this the expected behavoir. How can I change it?

did you enable “Email event owner” at Events > Settings > Emails > Booking Email Templates > Email event owner =Yes ?

Yes, and the owner receives only the mail when the event gets booked for the first time.

are you testing with an admin user? because if you are, EM won’t send an email if the user changing the booking status is an admin, given it assumes you the event admin is aware of this cancellation and no extra email is needed.

Yes, that was the problem. If the user cancels the booking from the frontend the mail gets sent.

assuming this is resolved then (you can unresolve it on the right)
