   Hello all:

   When I view my archives page, the URL displays my WordPres username instead of my real name--which is also the name I set WordPress to display in the backend User settings. It displays
   http://www.website/author/username
   Instead of
   http://www.website/author/MyActualName

   How can I change it so the URL displays my name instead?

   What have you set as your Display name in your profile?

   Hey esmi!

   Thanks for the quick response. In my profile I have the "Display name publicly as" set to my actual name, not my username. Something's definitely amiss, I just can't figure it out. I hope someone can help.

   Can you drop a copy of the archive.php file into the WordPress pastebin and post the pastebin url here? Perhaps someone will be able to spot the problem and suggest a solution.

   Until I read your response I had no idea what the WP Pastebin was--still not quite sure--but I did as you suggested because this is something I really need resolved. Thanks a lot for the help. Here's the URL everyone:
