   I was writing this Page to list the authors

   http://www.friedeye.com/about/authors/

   By mistake at first I typed the page name to author and it had no parent

   So, the early permalink for the page was http://www.friedeye.com/author/

   which is same as the author archive and hence the earlier entry was over-written

   Now, if I go to an author archive say, http://www.friedeye.com/author/aien/

   The link shows as broken link.

   I checked out it the database, but could not get any table for permalinks.

   How do I sort out this problem?

   While I was trying a different theme, I saw that the my author archives work. Can someone help me on how to get out of the problem? I want to stay with my original theme.

   try visiting the permalinks setting page to force a refresh of the permalinks structure

   the problem has been resolved by changing the theme and accessing the author archives again and again. Mysterious solution. So, I'm not yet closing the thread.
