authentication problem with Postie

    I’m trying to get Postie configured for my site, It passes the test of the configuration, EXCEPT, the final response I receive is:

    Unable to login. The server said:POP3 pass: Authentication failed [-ERR Authentication failed.]

    I have checked with my server host company and Postie is correctly configured for the dot5hosting server.

    Any thoughts on source of the error message – and a fix to see if Postie will work on my site? Thanks! Sandy

    Hi Sandy,

    This error message means that the credentials you put into Postie are not being accepted. Please verify that the user name and password are correct.
