Attitude Theme

I am trying to use this plugin combined with the “Attitude” theme but it the slider seems to be interfering with the menu. I have attempted to implement the code to make it my primary menu but no matter where I place that code, it puts the menu everywhere on the page but just above the slider. There are several “DO” actions in the header.php so I wonder if that might be the cause. I would really like to utilize this menu and this theme. Please advise. Thanks!
