And wpyogi, what happens one day when I want to insert css code widget into a webpage that conflicts with the custom code that you just gave me? Then I add new custom code for the my custom css plugin box but won’t that revert the ebay widget in question to its original distorted size? since this css code you gave me applies to the entire website and not just a specific page?
@newsball – I’m glad that’s helped, but posting repeatedly here really isn’t a good way to get help. Everyone here helping out is doing it on their own time, so if you need faster, better help, you should hire someone to help you.
That said, as I already said, the size/width of the eBay table is coming from the code you got from eBay. So perhaps you need to go back and ask them about it. This is the code I mean:

If you want to see what it looks like if you make is smaller, try adding this to your custom CSS below what you have there now:

width: 60%;
}
As you can see, that doesn’t work right at all. I really don’t think it’s supposed to be smaller – at least not with the code they gave you.
To answer your second question, you can modify the CSS you have so that it only applies to that one post – change it to this:
#post-2406 .entry-content td {
border-top: 0 none;
padding: 0;
}
#post-2406 .entry-content table {
border-bottom: 0 none;
line-height: 1;
margin: 0;
width: 100%;
}
As to future CSS changes, that’s why I’ve been suggesting you start learning CSS…

Just look at that. A screenshot from the ebay widget creator page… It gives the code & shows what it looks like. I can change the number of listings in the widget, the colors, etc & it shows me in real time how it will look. How it looks at http://newsball.com/fsaf/ looks nothing like that screenshot I just took for you.
I just can’t believe this can’t be solved easily.

It is supposed to be put in an article…. Like if your writing a review for a book, & you want to give readers the ebay listings to that book, you implement this editor kit. That’s what it is called – an editor kit.
I am approved as an ebay partner & I am trying to implement trayvon martin ebay listings at the bottom of my article about trayvon martin. So when people click and buy something, I get a %. But right now , as you can see, its length is horribly long….

No, just an amount of auctions to list option. That creates the length. And again, http://newsball.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/ebayexample.jpg shows exactly how the auction table should look – given the exact settings I chose!

There is no way that would fit in a widget sidebar… is there a widget i can implement within a page? if so, please, send me the link and i will install the plugin immediately! I understood it that widgets could only be put in the sidebar as every single widget i have ever activated have only seemed to be allowed to be dragged into the “main sidebar” of my wordpress
Why don’t you put this code in a plain HTML page to see how it looks outside of WP. I just did that and it looks the same as it does in WP… Here’s a screenshot:

Even your upload is missing the search box and search button and the “Trayvon Martin stuff on ebay” line right under that…. where did you upload the html page you made? you mean a notepade with the css code and u saved it as a .html? then uploaded it where to make it a jpeg?
So does this prove the entire editor kit that ebay is offering is flawed and broken???

It was a local file in a local browser window using the code you posted in your other thread. If that’s not the code you are still using, it may not be relevant. But it wasn’t getting CSS from anyplace else besides eBay.
before you leave can you tell me if widget plugins exist to allow a widget to be put in a page or post??? or can widgets only go in the sidebar??? which plugin will do this?
