Attempting to load simple real estate pack ver 1.10

    hi I attempting to load a plugin and amd getting the following message

    “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’ in /home2/roamingk/public_html/robertsmithonline/wp-content/plugins/simple-real-estate-pack-4/Class_srpWidgets.php on line 4”
    I am new to wordpress and would appreciate any help I can get

    This plugin requires at least PHP 5.2 – http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/simple-real-estate-pack-4/

    It looks like you have an earlier version of PHP.

    You need to talk to your host about getting PHP 5.2 in order to use this plugin

    Thanks Peter, Bluehost claim on their website that they are running 5.2.13 but I will contact them .

    robjan53: Regardless of what version of php is their latest, they may also have older versions available as well. If your configuration files are setup to use older versions, this will still happen. Check the PHP Config icon in the cPanel.

    bh_WP_fan, unfortunately Iam still not sure waht I am lookinh to find. I have found by clicking on PHP config Icon a choice of PHP settings so have marked and saved the file below
    “PHP5
    All files with the extension .php will be handled by the PHP5 engine.
    Current, most reliable and best performing version of PHP”

    I will see if that makes any difference or whether there is something else I may have to do.
