Yes this is still not working for me either. My post here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/attachments-not-uploading?replies=11 was marked as resolved but it is not – attachment upload still does not work. I have tried checking the appropriate boxes in the set up screen and adding the code provided to my functions.php but it still does not work.Hoping someone could please help.
@krazywop: It is considered impolite to interrupt another poster’s thread unless you are posting a solution or suggestion. As per the Forum Welcome, please post your own topic.
@esmi: It is the same issue. I am simply pointing out that “my own topic” (which is the same as this topic) was marked resolved and it is not. if that is a violation of the rules I apologize and will remove my post but I think Jax35 and I are asking the same thing and I was just trying to confirm that it may not just be a problem specific to him.
@krazywop: These forums have guidelines. Please read them. As you will see, one of these guidelines – entitled Where to Post – specifically states:
Unless you are using the same version of WordPress on the same physical server hosted by the same hosts with the same plugins, theme & configurations as the original poster, do not post in someone else’s thread. Start your own topic.
Please abide by this.
OK I apologize. Unfortunately I have lost the time frame to edit so please edit/remove at your convenience. Prob a good idea to delete all our back and for the comments as well to clean up Jax35’s thread. Sorry for the mistake.

Well I do appreciate the input krazywop, and I have read your thread, and agree that it is the exact same issue in most regards.
It seems to be that, for some reason, there is a java error that results from wordpress-bbpress-bbpress attachments combinations across most themes (look in the forums, they will bear this out) which is unfortunate because this is how they are DESIGNED to work!
Unfortunately, based on the responses to your post and mine, I think this developer has moved on to paid work and is disregarding these forums.

Unfortunately, I cannot wait around for a reply anymore, so I had to take drastic measures and change the theme of my entire website to get the forum to work…depressing.
