   Using WP2.04, I've been using attach file (for .doc and .xls files), linked to page. A few things:

   1) comments on those pages work sporadically - they seem to work only because I have plug-in 'Autolink Attachment' in use

   2) What I would like is to create a category or page or something that would show me all the attachment pages, across a range of parent categories. So, if the parent categories are lions, tigers, and bears, and the attachment pages are all files w/descriptions of these animals, I want to be able to see all the attachment pages across all animals.

   Can't seem to manage this -

   If you click your own tag (attachment) you may find some directions for your question #2.
