how do I attach a pdf to an event?

sorry this is not possible at the moment without custom php coding and am afraid that we can’t provide sample snippet for this.

Can’t you just add via media in event editor? That is how I add my pdf’s to an event. Or are you asking for something different?
From the Media Library I can select to attach to an event, which makes it a child object of that event.
as admin … but it fit the event and now users can post a picture associated with that event but not a pdf
