AnonymousOK guys, this thing has really been bugging me for about 2 days now, and I have tried nearly everything.
2 days ago I tried to use the instant upgrade plugin. After upgrading succesffully from 2.5.1 to 2.6, I stupidly wanted to downgrade to 2.5.1 again. So I made a backup of my database according to the wordpress codex. I also kept a "current" folder with the the most current wordpress files on my website (except the .htaccess). So I deleted my whole site without deactivating my plugins...then I reuploaded my files and deleted the old tables and inserted my new ones.
After that whenever I try to access the login page...I get redirected with a URL like http://drett.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=%2Farchives%2Fwp-admin%2F.....which eventually gives me an error of never-ending redirects.
I really tried everything I could. I even tried to strip my database of the tables that were'nt core wordpress tables but I still got the same error. I could excess the site alrgith..but I could not acccess the admin page.
Crap. I told myself maybe I should upload the 2.6 and then update my database. So I did just that. But now I can access the admin page...but not the site itself. No error or anything. Just a blank page.
Guys please help me. I'm really panicing here. I've put so much time and effort into the site. What should I do now? I dont mind about losing my themes and pictures or anything, I just want to have my posts and comments back into the site....I can always use another theme or something.
