Assigned blog page redirects to home

    Im using wcolor responsive theme. Whatever page I assign to be the posts page redirects to the home page when I assign it. I can view this page prior to assigning it the posts page. I do have post name permalinks and I changed it to the default which resulted in the same redirect. Any tips?
