Assign Posts to Users

Once I create a to do and do not assign it, all I can do is assign it to myself. It would be helpful to be able to assign it to another person after creating the to do. For example. I assigned one to myself. Then later on I decided I wanted to assign it to someone else. All I could do is unassign from me, but not reassign.

Or is there a way to do this and I just haven’t figured it out?
