Askimet API Problem

    Hi,

    i have self wodpress hosting, when i want use Askimet plugin i enter the API, but i failure to verify the API, the error is:

    “There was a problem connecting to the Akismet server. Please check your server configuration.”

    What is the problem?

    Please help me.
